Ageing

 

This portion of the tab will display a summary of the Account Receivable ageing of the customer for the current period. The system will aged the invoices receivables based on the due date of the invoice. The tab will be updated automatically every time an invoice from the customer is entered in the Point of Sales Entry or the Order Entry Screen or a payment is taken through Point of Sales Entry or Cash Receipts module.  

 

The user will be able to visualize the Ageing summary print at the end of a previous period. To do so, the user needs to select the period to display under the Period box located on the top right corner of the screen.

 

 

The ageing will be presented in the currency set up in the Main - Main information tab of the Customer Maintenance. If the currency of this customer is different from the currency used by the User’s - the user will be able to visualize the Ageing summary in his currency by changing it using the Currency drop down located at the top right corner of the tab.

 

Receivables: Represents the total amount receivable for the period selected (Sum of all ageing buckets: Dating, Current, 30 Days, 60 Days, 90 Days, 120 days and over);

 

Orders: This field displays the total amount currently on order -for this customer;

 

Invoices: This field displays the total amount of invoices - but waiting to be updated;

 

Total: This field presents the grand total of everything receivable for this customer.  

 

General Information

 

Last Sales Date: This field will be updated automatically and will show the date of the last Sales created for this customer;

 

Last Payment Date: This field will be updated automatically and will show the date of the last Cheque received from this customer.

 

Last Payment Amount: This field will be updated automatically and will show the amount of the last Cheque received from this customer.

 

Highest Credit: This field will be updated automatically and will display the highest credit for the month for this customer.

 

Available Credit: This field will be updated automatically and will display the available credit for this customer.

 

Statistics

 

This section of the tab will show the history of purchases made from this customer r, for the selected period to display, month-to-date and year-to-date. The statistics are displayed by category of Sales:

 

General Ledger: This field will display all sales related to services (i.e: delivery, cutting, etc.);

 

Sales: This field will display all sales that will decrease the inventory of the company;

 

Costs: This field will display the total cost for the items that were sold.  

 

Gross Profit %:  This field will display the Gross Profit % for the Sales and Costs above.
