Interest Rates

The Interest Rates menu allows the user to enter a General Rate for all Customers.  This interest is calculated when the Interest Calculation Journal is run at Month-End. This menu also allows to enter different Interest Rates by Type of customer of for a specific customer.

The user will double click on the field called General Rate to be able to enter a General Rate.

Interest Rate by Type of Customer:

If the user wants to enter a different rate by Customer Type, the user must click on the Add button.

Type:  Enter the Type of customer or perform a search by pressing F1 to find the proper type.

% Rate: Enter the Interest Rate for this type of customer.

The user can enter more than one type with different interest rate percentage.

Interest Rate by Customer:

If the user wants to enter a different rate for a specific customer, the use must click on the Add button.

Customer: Enter the customer account or perform  a search by pressing F1 to find the proper customer account number.

% Rate: Enter the Interest Rate for this customer.

The user can enter more than one customer with different interest rate percentage.

Once the Interest Rates are entered, the user must press ALT-F4 to exit.
