Market Cost

This option is used to enter the Market Cost on mostly sensitive products on a cost perspective such as Spruce and gyp-rock.  This option is mostly used for customers who owns Building Materials.

The user must press the Add button to enter the market cost on specific items.

Product SKU: The user must enter the product code.

The system will display the Description and the unit Cost as well as the Retail for this item.

Market Cost: The user must enter the Market Cost of this item.

Example of Product entered:

This Market Cost can help the sales service centre to make better informed decision on a selling price on these items when it comes to quotes or maybe even beating a competitors pricing. This is security driven.

In Order entry:

When the cursor is under the Price column, the user can press Ctrl-F5 to see the last prices of the item.

Once the Ctrl-F5 is pressed, the following screen will pop-up:

This screen allows the user to see the Market Cost of this item.

History Tab:

This option is used to display all changes done to the Pick-up Locations Maintenance.

User: The user number who made the change.

From: Old Information.

To: New Information.

Date/Time: Date and Time of change.
