UPC Verification

This option is used to verify if a UPC code is already link to a product code or linked a product to the UPC code if it is not already linked.

The user must scan the item or type in the UPC code manually and press enter if a scanner is not attached to his PC.

If the UPC entered is already linked to a product, the system will pull up the following information:

If the user wants to verify another UPC code, the user must click on the field called UPC and you will be ready to scan or enter a new UPC code.

If the UPC entered is not linked to a product, the system will ask you the following question:

The user must press Yes if he wants to link the UPC entered. Once the user said Yes to link, the user must enter a product number under the product number field or can perform a search to look up for items by pressing F1.

Once the product number is entered, the system will ask you to confirm the following:

The user must press on Yes to associate this product code to the UPC.
