Pick-up Locations Maintenance

 

This option is used to create where the customer can pick-up certain merchandise in the yard such as black earth, mulch etc.

 

The user must make sure that a screen parameters is set-up for a Pick-up location receipt (as a document) to print as a second option after a sale is printed.

 

 

 

 

 

Code: The user must create a code for this pick-up location. this field is 5 digits and alpha-numerical.

 

Warehouse: The user can choose a warehouse/store number from the pull-down list or click on the box if it is the same for all warehouses.

 

English Description: The user must enter the English Description to guide the customer on the location of the item purchased. This field contains 40 digits and is alpha-numerical.

 

French Description: The user must enter the French Description to guide the customer on the location of the item purchased. This field contains 40 digits and is alpha-numerical.

 

The user must press the Add button to continue:

 

Category 1: The user must enter the category 1 into this field or a research for this category can be perform by pressing F1 and choosing the category. Or the user must press enter if this pick-up list must be entered for specific product. If the user chooses to enter this by Category, he will need to drill down to the specific level as much as possible. i.e. all you mulch is in a Category 3 or Category 4 than this can be done by Category.

 

Category 2: The user must enter the category 2 into this field or a research for this category can be perform by pressing F1 and choosing the category.

 

Category 3: The user must enter the category 3 into this field or a research for this category can be perform by pressing F1 and choosing the category.

 

Category 4: The user must enter the category 4 into this field or a research for this category can be perform by pressing F1 and choosing the category.

 

Product: The user must type in the product number or press F1 to perform a search and the system will fill in the description automatically.

 

 

When this item is sold through Point of Sales, the system will print a pick-up list with the Description so the customer knows where to go to pick-up his product.

This option is used to display all changes done to the Pick-up Locations Maintenance.

 

User: The user number who made the change.

 

Category: The category that was changed.

 

Product: The product that was changed.

 

Field: The field that was changed.

 

From: Old Information.

 

To: New Information.

 

Date/Time: Date and Time of change.
