Category Parameters

 

This option is used to enter or modify existing parameters for automatic re-ordering, price changes based on Gross Margin etc.

 

 

The user can enter this for all warehouses or for a specific warehouse by choosing the proper warehouse from the drop-down list.

 

The user must press the add button to add a new category once the warehouse is displayed.

 

Category Level 1: The user must enter the Category Level 1 or press F1 to perform a search to find the proper category.

 

Category Level 2: The user must enter the Category Level 2 or press F1 to perform a search to find the proper category. If parameters are entered for all categories level 2, 3 and 4, the user must press F2 to accept all categories under the Category Level 2.

 

Category Level 3: The user must enter the Category Level 3 or press F1 to perform a search to find the proper category. If parameters are entered for all categories level 2, 3 and 4, the user must press F2 to accept all categories under the Category Level 3.

 

Category Level 4: The user must enter the Category Level 4 or press F1 to perform a search to find the proper category. If parameters are entered for all categories level 2, 3 and 4, the user must press F2 to accept all categories under the Category Level 4.

 

MinWk:  The user must enter the minimum quantity to keep in stock at all times.

 

MaxWk: The user must enter the maximum quantity to keep in stock.

 

Turn: The user must enter how many time that the products within this category would turn during a year.

 

MGM: The user must enter the Gross Margin of the products within this category.

 

IGMO1: The user must enter the Gross Margin of the product within this category to update Price Level 1 while entering a Purchase Order based on the cost of the items on the PO.

 

IGMO2: The user must enter the Gross Margin of the product within this category to update Price Level 2 while entering a Purchase Order based on the cost of the items on the PO.

 

IGMO3: The user must enter the Gross Margin of the product within this category to update Price Level 3 while entering a Purchase Order based on the cost of the items on the PO.

 

IGMO4: The user must enter the Gross Margin of the product within this category to update Price Level 4 while entering a Purchase Order based on the cost of the items on the PO.

 

IGMO5: The user must enter the Gross Margin of the product within this category to update Price Level 5 while entering a Purchase Order based on the cost of the items on the PO.

 

IGMO6: The user must enter the Gross Margin of the product within this category to update Price Level 6 while entering a Purchase Order based on the cost of the items on the PO.

 

Min: The user must enter a Gross Margin % minimum and if ever any product's Gross Margin within that category hits this minimum, this product would appear on the Gross Margin Exceptions Report.

 

Max: The user must enter a Gross Margin % maximum and if ever any product's Gross Margin within that category hits this minimum, this product would appear on the Gross Margin Exceptions Report.

 

Grow%: This is used when the user sees an upward trend in sales for the year (increase with billing) and the user wants to consider this in the auto-re ordering.
