Maintenance

This option is used to enter new unit of measure if required new ones. Standard unit of measure already exists in the Phoenix Software. These unit of measure are used when creating a new product and throughout the software under Sales, Purchasing and Inventory.

The user must press the Add button to add a new unit of measure.

English Abbreviation: The user must enter the English Abbreviation of the unit of measure he wishes to create. This field is 5 digits and is alpha-numeric.

English Description: The user must enter the English Description of the unit of measure he wishes to create. This field is 40 digits and is alpha-numeric.

French Abbreviation: The user must enter the French Abbreviation of the unit of measure he wishes to create. This field is 5 digits and is alpha-numeric.

English Description: The user must enter the French Description of the unit of measure he wishes to create. This field is 40 digits and is alpha-numeric.

History Tab:

This option is used to display all changes done to the Unit of Measure Maintenance.

User: The user number who made the change.

Unit: The Unit of Measure that was changed.

Field: The field that was changed.

From: Old Information.

To: New Information.

Date/Time: Date and Time of change.
