Conversions

This option is used to enter new conversions if required.  These conversions are used when creating a Master / Satellite product which is when a product is purchased with one unit of measure but sold with a different unit of measure. i.e. Buy by the roll and sell by the foot. Standard conversions already exists in the Phoenix Software.

From Unit: The user must enter the unit to convert From.

To Unit: The user must enter the unit to convert to.

Thickness: The user must click on this field if the Thickness must be taken in consideration during the conversion.  Mostly used for Lumber such as Spruce 2X4X8.

Width:The user must click on this field if the Width must be taken in consideration during the conversion.  Mostly used for Lumber such as Spruce 2X4X8.

Length:The user must click on this field if the Length must be taken in consideration during the conversion.  Mostly used for Lumber such as Spruce 2X4X8.

Quantity:The user must click on this field if the Quantity per package must be taken in consideration during the conversion.  i.e. 50 Lbs per box

Operation: The user must choose Multiplication or Division under this operation field.

Conversion Factor: The user must type in the conversion factor under this field.

History Tab:

This option is used to display all changes done to the Unit of Measure Maintenance.

User: The user number who made the change.

From - To Units: The Unit of Measure that was changed.

Field: The field that was changed.

From: Old Information.

To: New Information.

Date/Time: Date and Time of change.
