Cost Modifications
This option is used to do to cost modifications on products.
Reference: The user must type in a Reference number.
Date: The user can press enter to accept today's date for the cost modification or the user can type in a new date or press CTRL-P to call up the calendar and the user can choose a date from the calendar.
User: The user number will automatically populate.
Comments: The user must type in a comment explaining why this cost modification is required. This field is approximately 400 digits and is alpha-numeric.
Product: The user must type in the product number.
The description, the warehouse, the lot number, the unit, the type and the current cost in dollars will be populated with the information from the product maintenance based on the product number the user entered under the Product field.
New Cost ($): The user must type in the new cost for this product.
Example:
Once the user presses Alt-F4 to exit this menu, the system will ask you the following question:
If the user wishes to update the entry, the user must press Yes to update.
If the user answers No, the system will exit from this menu and not perform the update.
If the user answers Cancel, the system will cancel the entry and will exit from this menu.
