Price Changes by Date

 

This option is used to enter future price change by effective date.  The system will update the prices during the evening of the effective date.

 

 

 

Reference: The user must enter a Reference number for this price change. This field is 15 digits and is alpha-numerical.

 

Warehouse: The user must choose a warehouse/store for the price change by either typing in the warehouse number or choose warehouse from drop-down list.  The user can also click on All Warehouses if the price change should effect all of the warehouse.

 

Effective Date: The user must enter the effective date of the price changes or click on Calendar to be able to choose the effective date when viewing the calendar.

 

Comments: The user can enter a comment for this price change. This field is 500 digits and is alpha-numerical.

 

If the user chooses to enter a Vendor number, the user has 2 choices to update the prices by price % or by cost %.  The system will go through all the products that are link to this vendor and will add them to the detail of this screen and the system will update the price based on this information. If the user wants to enter the price change manually, the user must press enter on the vendor number and the cursor will be on the field called Cat 1 in the detail.

 

Vendor: The user must enter the vendor number.

 

Price %: The user must enter a percentage if the user wants to update the price by using a certain percentage based on the price.


Cost %: The user must enter a percentage if the user wants to update the price buy using a certain percentage based on the cost.

 

 

 

If the user didn't enter a vendor number in the header, the following must be entered.

 

 

Category Level 1: The user must enter the Category Level 1 or press F1 to perform a search to find the proper category. If the Price Change should be entered by product, the user must press enter in this field.

 

Category Level 2: The user must enter the Category Level 2 or press F1 to perform a search to find the proper category. If parameters are entered for all categories level 2, 3 and 4, the user must press F2 to accept all categories under the Category Level 2.

 

Category Level 3: The user must enter the Category Level 3 or press F1 to perform a search to find the proper category. If parameters are entered for all categories level 2, 3 and 4, the user must press F2 to accept all categories under the Category Level 3.

 

Category Level 4: The user must enter the Category Level 4 or press F1 to perform a search to find the proper category. If parameters are entered for all categories level 2, 3 and 4, the user must press F2 to accept all categories under the Category Level 4.

 

Product:  The user must enter the product number or press F1 to perform a search to find the proper product code.

 

Level: The user must select the price level to be changed. i.e. Price level 1

 

New Price ($): The user can enter the new price.

 

Price %: The user must enter a percentage if the user wants to update the price by using a certain percentage based on the price.


Cost %: The user must enter a percentage if the user wants to update the price buy using a certain percentage based on the cost.
