Price Changes by Cost

 

This option is populated automatically based on the cost change which comes from the Purchase Order entry.

 

Before starting to use this module, the user must make sure that the IGMO1, IGMO2, IGMO3 etc. must be entered in the Category Parameters Maintenance.

 

Category Parameters:

 

This example will be based on Category 2 - IGMO 1 = 50% - IGMO 2 = 45%

 

 

 

Purchase Order Entry:

 

 

When ending a PO entry and the cost changed, the system will give you the following message:

 

 

The user must press Yes to proceed with Selling price calculations.

 

The following window will pop-up showing the user the price change:

 

 

The system shows the actual cost, the new cost, the actual price 1, the actual Gross Margin in percentage, the IGMO 1, the new Price, the new Gross Margin, the Actual Price 2, the actual GM in percentage, the IGMO2, the new price 2 and the new price 2.

 

The user must press F2 to exit this window.

 

Complete the PO as usual and when the user pressed C for complete, the system ask you for an effective date:

 

 

The user must type in the effective date for the price change and press enter.

 

The Price Change by Cost is populated automatically with this process. The system entered 2 lines for this item for a price change for Price Level 1 as well as Price Level 2.
