GL Distributions:

The GL distributions module allow the user to enter a percentage amount to distribute by warehouse.

Fiscal Year: The user must choose the year for the GL distributions.

GL Account: The user can recall a G/L account. The user can type the account number directly under the account field or the user can perform a search by pressing the F1 key:

The user can type part of an account description such as shown below and press enter.In this example, RECEIV was typed in for the information to search.

So the system shows all of the accounts that has part of that wording in the description. The user must double click on the the line of the account to choose this GL account.

Your cursor will be in the field GL account with you number displayed as shown below:

Must press enter and the system will display the description of the account.

The user must choose the Reversing account for this distributions (user can follow steps above) to find a GL or can just type in an account.

Once that is done, the user can press the Add button,

The user must add the different GL accounts for advertising by warehouse and type in a percentage to distribute from the main account to the accounts by warehouse.

When entering a purchase invoice for any advertising, it will go under the main GL account and the system will distribute it by % amount to the GL accounts by warehouse.

Note: The distribution amount must equal to 100% before the user will be able to exit this module.
