Journal Entry Templates
This module allows the user to create templates for journal entry. In other words, if the user must enter the same journal entry every week or every month, the user can create a template and it can be recalled in the journal entry module.

Adjustment: The user must create an adjustment name for this template. Or can recall an existent template by typing the adjustment name or can press F1 to perform a search to find existing template. This field is 10 digits and it is alphanumerical. For this example, the adjustment name will be RENT
Once the user type in the adjustment name and press enter, the system will ask you the following question:

To proceed, th user must click on yes on press enter to accept the yes
Authorized: The user must choose a user as the authorized by.

Currency: The user must choose the currency for this journal entry

As you can see, the system enters the date and time that you started entering this template.
Once the header is entered, the user must press the Add button to start entering the journal entry template or if you pressed enter after each field in the header, it will bring you automatically to GL account. The user might have to double click on the field detail called GL Account
GL account: Once your cursor is under the GL account, the user can type in the account number directly or the user can perform a search by pressing the F1 key and typing some information to search such as rent:

You can either highlight the line and press enter or double click on the account that you want to choose.
Description: The user has the choice to press enter and keep the actual description

or type in a new description for this template which will be displayed in the account inquiry and ca be more specific. i.e Rent Building 1

Warehouse: The user must decide which warehouse to apply this rent too. If only have one warehouse, will always be warehouse 1 but for multiple warehouses, the user must choose the warehouse number (i.e. 01, 02 etc).
Debit: If it is a debit, the user must enter the amount and press enter. If it is a credit, the user will press enter to move the cursor under Credit.
Credit: The user must enter an amount and press enter when a credit.
The user must repeat this for all the GL accounts that this journal entry template touches.

Once all of the accounts are entered, the user must put in a Reason for this journal entry:

The File button shows you what is available to the user in case a modification is required:

Once the user accepts this template, he can press F2 to end
In the journal entry module, you can recall an existing template by pressing the F1 key under adjustment (no.1)

And the user must press yes to see the templates and brings you to a search:

The user must recall the template by choosing the proper one and pressing enter or double clicking on the line.
Once you did this, the user must select a period and the authorized by and the system will display the following:

And the user must enter the amount. The system leaves the amount blank even if you put an amount in the template. This way, the user can enter the amount for rent for that month.
Once the user entered the amount of the first line, system brings you to the second line and must enter the amount for that line.

If you done, the user must press the Complete button and the system will ask you the following question:

And system will show you the adjustment number and you can press on the OK button.
