Salesperson Commission Table
The Salesperson Commission Table module allows the user to enter a commission table for the system to calculate what a commission should be based on the sales entered under this salesperson. The sales by salesman report would display the sales for each salesman. The Sales without taxes can be viewed under the user maintenance in the Sales by Salesperson's tab.

Warehouse: The user can select a specific warehouse from the drop down list or clicking on the box besides All Warehouses if commission table applies to all warehouses.
Customer Type: The user must select a customer type from the drop down list if the commission table is applicable for only one type of customer.
Customer: The user can select a specific customer by doing a search, by typing his phone number or account number or clicking on the box besides All Customers if commission table applies to all customers.
Once the user selected the proper fields for the header, the user can proceed with the detail of the Commission table by clicking on the add tab.
Cat 1: The user can enter the category 1 or press F1 to perform a search or press F2 to accept all categories.
Cat 2: The user can enter the category 2 or press F1 to perform a search or press F2 to accept all categories.
Cat 3: The user can enter the category 3 or press F1 to perform a search or press F2 to accept all categories.
Cat 4: The user can enter the category 4 or press enter to perform a search or press F2 to accept all categories.
Product: The user can enter a specific product number instead of a category if a specific product as a different commission from the category
Type: The user can choose between Price %, GM % or Price $. Price % means that the commission percentage will be calculated on the price of the product. GM % means the commission percentage will be calculated on the gross margin of the product. Price $ means that the commission will be paid as a specific amount such as a "spiff". A dollar amount will be given to the salesperson if they sell a specific product so the price $ will be used for a specific product.
The user must follow the company's policy regarding the different classes of salesperson and the commission structure for each class. Class A can identify new salesperson, class B can identify intermediate salesperson and class C can identify experienced salesperson.
Class A: The user must enter the percentage for this class.
Class B: The user must enter the percentage for this class.
Class C: The user must enter the percentage for this class.
Explanation of Class A, B and C: Company Policy
The user must follow the company's policy regarding the different classes of salesperson and the commission structure for each class. Class A can identify new salesperson, class B can identify intermediate salesperson and class C can identify experienced salesperson.
These different types of class must be attached to the user under Security - User Maintenance. The user must identify if this user is considered a salesperson by clicking on yes. Once the user set to yes, the user must identify the class of the user by selecting the proper type from the drop down list.
This user/salesman must be attached to a customer account which is done under Receivables - Maintenance - Customers. The users, which are flagged to yes under the security module will be the only one which appears in the drop down list under the Sales Section in the customer account file.

The history screen displays all changes that was done in this screen for every commission table displayed by displaying the user, the category, the product, the field, the from and to changes and the date and time. The user can click on the box to view complete history.
