Once the vendor record is displayed on screen and the Contact Tab is chosen, a contact may be added by choosing the ADD button at the bottom of the screen. The cursor will go to the Name field and the user may key in the name they wish to record. The name field is alpha-numeric and may contain up to 20 characters. Press enter to proceed to the next field and key in the information in the appropriate fields. Once all information is complete, press Alt-F4 to exit and the system will prompt to save.
The user will be able to add important information attached to each contact such as the title, telephone, email address etc.
Once a contact is saved, it can’t be modified. However, the user can delete the line and create a new contact with the updated information.
