Reward Card Type

This module allows the user to enter different types of reward card which can be attached to a customer account when selling a reward card.  The user can enter special prices on the Reward Card Type through the Reward Card Special Prices.

This type of card allows the customer to accumulate points during his purchases and a gift card will be sent at the end and the amount depends on the dollar amount purchased during the year.

The user must click on the add button to enter the Reward Card Type.

Type:  The user must type of Reward Card.  This field is alpha-numerical and it is 5 characters in length.

English Description: The user must type in the English Description. This field is alpha-numerical and is 40 characters in length.

French Description: The user must type in the French Description or press enter to accept the English description into the French Description. This field is alpha-numerical and is 40 characters in length.

Card Prefix: The user must enter the prefix of the card. I.E. If the card number is GM000012345678, the user will enter GM in this field. This field is alpha-numerical and is 5 characters in length.

General Ledger account: The user must type in the G/L account. The system will display the description of this account automatically when the GL account is entered.

Display Points: The user must click on this box if you want the system to display the points.

Sale Price: The user must enter the sale price if applicable.

Reward Point Reduction:  The user must enter the dollar amount and the points that it represents. I.E. For each dollar purchased, 2 points will be accumulated.  This depends on the company’s policy.

Point Reduction Screen:  The user must click on the Apply Reduction for the applicable methods of payment.
